Dear Alumnus,

This mail is in regarding treatment of Jaskaran Singh, 2011 ITBHU passout, B-Tech, civil engineering.

Just before joining his job last year Jaskaran had gone to Manikaran with his family (to pay homage to God). On their way back they met with an accident. Unfortunately his whole family died in the accident (Mother, father and younger brother).

Jaskaran suffered injuries to his spine which disabled movement of any of his body parts. He was treated at a hospital in Chandigarh (Government Medical College).

It has been six months since his treatment. His recovery has been very slow (he is hardly able to move his fingers even now). The doctors at Indian Spinal Injury Centre(ISIC), Vasant Kunj, New Delhi have suggested a 3 month treatment which should enable Jaskaran to get back up on his feet (if everything goes well).
